bridging 2 broadband modems

is it possible to connect 2 broadband modems in parallel to double the amount of data available for download, or is it all dependent on your internet connection. thanks

To be honest, I doubt it as the line will have a maximum that it will be able to deliver - that's why lines are rated as "up to" 8mbs rather than giving a guarantee of 8mbs etc.

You can't unfortunately sychronise two BB modems on the one line.
As stated the speed is a measure of the Max the line will take.

Most modems would worrk at higher speeds, if available.
