I have bought a CD to install on my computer (XP), but it won't install, the ex-owner of the CD says to use BoxDos for installing. Does anyone know what this means?

Not sure if this is what he means: click here

BTW, it sounds like an old game you're trying to install?

No, it isn't an old game, its anatomy cd that is supposed to be able to run on Xp but it won't install. I hve never heard of BoxDos before. I found the downloads for this on the site you gave, but have no idea which one I need.

The only thing I can think of at the moment is is there a web site on the packaging that may have a FAQ section, or if you explore the CD there maybe a readme file or PDF manual somewhere.

Sorry I can't help with BoxDos, I've never heard of it before, the reason I asked if it was an old game is that reading the blurb on the BoxDos site, it seemed to be emulation software to run old applications in XP. In your case if the CD should run on XP then it should do exactly what it says on the tin.

Let us know what you find.
