Bootup problem

I am having trouble booting up my new computer. I am getting no joy from the support team. I bought my computer from Time. Problem: I always have to boot up twice, on the first boot attempt the process freezes before getting to the point where it loads Windows XP home edition, I then power down the system and try again, it always works on the second attempt! Anyone out there got a solution ?
