When I format my harddrive, I put in a bootable floppy ,restart my PC, then type format c at the prompt. Then change to the Cd rom letter, which has the windows 98 or Me cd in, and type in setup. Windows loads onto a clean harddrive.
But what files do I need to make a bootable floppy for XP. The above floppy does not work. (dos commands) Anyone help, please!!!

PS if the comp is not too old it may load strait from the CD. Go into BIOS at start of comp and change the boot device so it starts with the CD drive as first boot device. and start comp with xp dosc in comp
