I have have put a "boot.ima" file on the front of a Op/Sys disk to make it boot from CD Rom on a clean install.

Does anyone know how to check on the disc that it is actually there.

Have tried dos and search file routine to try and find it but with no joy.

Does anyone know of a program that can display such info please.

Many thanks for any help.

Have you set (in Windows Explorer) Tools - Folder Options - View, "Show hidden files and folders", and untick "Hide protected operating system files".
