Try burning a cd through to completion and then closing all components of easy cd including the project selector, follow this with a re-boot, it's possible that it may have been interupted during its burn sequence previously hence it is showing up at boot-up. Failing that a re-load of Easy cd would probably be your next best bet

If you have Take Two on take it off as that causes this type of miss burn and issues

When the computer is either restarted or at boot up on completion I have the normal desktop plus the Easy CD Creator 'Select a Project' screen on top.
The 'Startup' file is 'Empty' so nothing is meant
to start other than the desktop...........
Question ..why is this happening and how can I stop it ????

There are some update files on the Roxio site which may cure your problem.I had one or two things happening when I went onto XP and this has cured them.
