Well I've spent some of the day with my Friend installing my New Rig

Asus Crosshair Mobo
AMD 5600 CPU
2 Gig DDR2 6400 Ram
Western Digital Stata 2 Hard Drive
OCZ 700watt PSU
Antec 900 Gaming Case

All has gone well, but when I boot my system I get "Invalid System Disk Error" Message and I bring the Boot Menu and for some reason I select my IDE Slave Drive and Windows Boots Normaly any ideas as to why this happens?

Also, this Mobo has only 1 IDE Socket what do I need to add to make another IDE Socket?

Hope you can advise me

Thank you
Rob

Does it have Sata Drivers on a Disc? if so try booting with the disc it may need these drivers to see the drive

I believe there was Woodchip on the motherboard drivers disk, Ile have to install a floppy drive to sort this out I feel.

Can answer my other queery about the IDE bit, as I have only 1 IDE Slot what would I need to extend this? Do I need an expanstion card??
