Boot-up to fast?

XP-Pro. On start-up, since installing Canon Camera software for raw capture, the PC will not boot on occasions probably 50-50, but on pressing reset all is OK, could this be a problem of too fast a boot-up. If so how do I slow it down, or is there some other reason?.

Many Thanks.

Harry

Why not remove the software and just load the driver, then use programs what you already have for editing pics

I need the software for processing the "Raw" images from the camera, otherwise it's a case of buying more software.

Addition/correction to original posting. The PC does boot-up but only to a blank screen. I get the impression that the monitor/graphic drivers are not loading, but do load on a reset.
