Boot disk problem, wont work

hiya can anyone offer me any advice on this one, it would be greatly appreciated.

the boot disk for my pc wont work because the motherboard has been changed some time ago by a third party, and so i cant reload the operating system.

Packard bell pc with millenium edition (COA). came with 3 x sytem recovery cd's and a bootable floppy to be used to load the 3 x restore cd's.
However the Pac Bell bootdisk is sayinhg that the system is not a packard bell machine (as the motherboard has been changed)and so will not prompt me to insert the first of the restore cd's - which are not themselves bootable.

Is there any way round this, because i need the floopy to work to get the OS off of the restore cd's.

any input would be usefull.
