Is there any way to get a little bit more out of your download speeds? (1.1Mb BB)

Sure is. Check out Onspeed. It works.

What browser?

Faster fox plug in for firefox.

Heres a little trick to speed up firefox.

To start, get Mozilla Full or Mozilla Firefox. Now, in the Address bar type

about:config (hit enter)

You will see a whole load of options (reminds me of Regedit) Change the following values as stated:

network.http.max-connections = 64 network.http.max-connections-per-server= 20 network.http.max-persistent-connections-per-server= 10 network.http.pipelining = true network.http.pipelining.maxrequests = 100 or 200 (choose one) nglayout.initialpaint.delay = 0 network.http.request.max-start-delay = 0

If nglayout.initialpaint.delay doesnt exist, Right click, new integer.

Close mozilla and start it again. Now Mozilla Burns sites like wild.

WARNING: These settings make you download sites considerably faster, BUT put a great overload on the sites you go to. This really means nothing other then the fact that anyone else browsing will just go slower and you will absorb their speed.

Sorry, I'm not using Firefox, I'm on Slimbrowser.

Also, it's not the downloading of site I want to make faster, it's the downloading of software, e.g. Flyff. :o)

I'm happy with my current ISP, it't something more like Fruit Bat's suggestion I was after.

Onspeed isn't an ISP its a speed boosting thingy. Google their web site and have a look. It sounds like what you're after.

I glanced at the site after your first post and the layout made it look like an ISP. I probably should have oiginally mentioned that I was after something free ;o)

Also, it's not an absolute necessity that I get something, I was just asking out of curiosity :o)

Thanks anyway.
