I've been trying to use a game controller a Genius Maxfire G-09D with my computer but it keeps coming up deice not connected. In the second system I tried, also with onboard sound ,the same thing happens but in a computer with a seperate sound card it works fine. Now all the computers will work with a standard joystick its just this one that seems to be the problem.
So can anyone tell me if its the onboard sound thats the problem, if it is, the only solution I can see would be to disable the onboard sound and install a seperate sound card. Any info please.
