Blurry Text & Exagerated Colors

I just purchased a Sharp Aquous 26" widescreen TV for use as a computer monitor. I've set the Windows XP and GPU resolution to the TV's native resolution: 1360 X 768 @ 60Hz. I'm using a VGA connector and running a pair of ATI XT1900 XT's with a Crossfire arrangement. After all of this, I still have blurry text and exagerated colors (especially blue and red). Did I simply buy too big of a TV? What is the solution?

If you can use DVI connectors you may notice an improvement, with VGA the signal is being converted from digital to analog at the card and back to digital at the TV

I'm using 1024 by 768 and that's on a 15" screen.

You are effectively doubling the pixel size
