Blueyonder/Netgear WG602 access point configuring

I Ebayed a "spare" WG602, for use as a multipoint wireless bridge in our network.
When it arrived, I found that it was NOT a plain Netgear unit, but a "tweaked" unit.
I have not been able to reset it to the Netgear default. Much frustration.
I have managed to set up my laptop, to see it wirelessly, using Blueyonders SSID & "finding" their WEP password.
However, am unable to access the configuration pages. Can they be accessed? If so, how?
Your help/expertise is appreciated
