hi, i have a sharp gx25 mobile phone, and i'm trying to connect to my pc using usb bluetooth dongle (D-link) xp recognises the usb device, but i can't find it with my phone, the phone is ok, coz it picks up my flat mates phone in the next room. what do i need to do? thanks.

There will be the option on the computer to either hide or make visible the bluetooth. You will need to ensure that it is visible.

You may have a problem connecting the Sharp GX20 with anything other than a bluetooth earpiece. I have the GX30 and asked Vodafone about connecting it to my iPAQ but was told the phone wasnt compatible with it. The GX30i is suitable.

You should right click the small bluetooth icon in the systems tray, then there should be a tab labelled "advanced configuration" it should be in there.
That is if you have installed the softwate, not just puged the dongle in.
