Bluetooth and Windows XP SP2 with NIS 2004

  TrustNoone 11:28 27 Sep 04

I cannot get my new bluetooth enabled PDA to send data to my PC. The PC has Win XP Home with SP2 and Norton Internet Security 2004 - the windows firwall is turned off because the NIS 2004 firewall is active.

When attempting to send data, my PC refuses to accept the data.

In the bluetooth manager the PDA has the PC as an incoming connection, but there is no outgoing connection.

If I attempt to set my PDA as a bluetooth server, the PC asks for an athentication key, but I have no idea where to find this on my PDA (IPAQ h2210).

Does anyone have some idea how to overcome this difficulty?

Thank you

Have you gone into the Control Panel on the PC and in the bluetooth icon let it search and add the pda?
