Hi, My knowledge about bluetooth is very limited and my son has a phone with bluetooth on it, and wants to transfer his pics to the pc. He went to buy a cable for his phone and the guy in the shop told him to buy some bluetooth connection for the pc, but he has come away very confused, can you please help. Thanx

What he was probably referring to is a USB bluetooth receiver that plugs into the USB port of the PC and then yor son will be able to download the pics etc wirelessly. A suitable one is the Belkin Bluetooth USB adaptor (about £20).

Not all bluetooth phones have data transfer capabilities some only have voice via headset. Somne of the O2 x range don't for example.

What model of phone does your son have?
