Blue slot on motherboard

I bought a Medion 3000 Plus PC in the January sales from PC World. In the course of looking inside the PC to see whether there was room for a second hard disk I noticed that between the two white PCI slots there is a blue slot containing the modem card. I don't want the modem, in fact, I will be removing it and am going to fit a video editing card. Does anyone know what the blue slot is? Is it another PCI slot or is it a slot that can only be used for a modem? The motherboard is an MSi MS-6747. Grateful for any info.

as you know the mboard number it is worthwhile downloading the manual, this will give you all the info you need and is good for when you do future upgades.
