blue screen and system crashes

  Blade 69 10:07 22 Dec 03

My system is running on Microsoft windows 2000 server pro. It was running fine until one day I started to get the blue screens. The blue screens all say they are system dump or something along though lines. And a timer would count to 100 and then the system would re start. Why is it doing this and how can I stop it.

The second problem I have is my system would just freeze up and I can’t to anything until I reboot. Is there a way of finding out what the problem is? I don’t know if the problems are related but the problems stared at the same time. I have tried an online virus scan but it don’t find anything.

Any suggestions

blue screens with 2000 are, in my experience, faulty RAM sticks, can you check or replace RAM then recheck?
