Blue Screen Hell

I have a multivision comp based around an MSI 6593
motherboard with an nvidia geforce 4 ti4600 graphics card and ntl broadband modem.Running winxp.
When playing games on or off line i randomly get a blue screen error message.....
STOP ERROR:0x0000007f 0x00000000 0x00000000 0x00000000
i have to reboot my comp after this.i have all windows updates
Please help as multivision are completely useless,
after having my comp on 2 occasions,a total of 3 weeks and still it is not fixed.
DO NOT BUY FROM MULTIVISION !!!!!

Have you been to nvidia.com and downloaded the latest drivers for the graphics card?

P.S. I guess you are frustrated, but stating 'do not buy from company X' is a quick way to get your posting deleted on this forum.

yes,i went to NVIDIA.COM and downloaded/installed
the DETONATOR FX drivers,still no good.
Your right i am frustratd and very annoyed with this company..

Have you changed / added any hardware lately?

The article at click here states that the most common cause is a hardware failure (especially memory). This may only show up when you play games, that can 'stress' components beyond whatthey normally have to perform for normal office-type tasks.

You could try removing memory modules one at a time, in case it is faulty RAM.
