Blue screen error message

Please can anyone tell me what the following blue screen message means?
Error:06:4F4C:00005058
It came on screen while the desktop was trying to load from a restart, required by a Norton Internet Security LiveUpdate. The error instruction to "press any key to return to windows" simply landed me back at the error screen, and Alt+Crl+Delete repeated the sequence of startup problems. Finally I 'pulled the plug' and restarted the computer, and ScanDisc worked, and finally I got a working computer. But it has happened twice since, when the computer has had to be shut down or restarted. Help!
Many thanks.
