Blue Screen Error

My VIsta Home Premium Laptop was working well, but one day, i restarted it and it would not get past the loading page.
It just flashed a blue screen for 1 second so i could not read what it said.
I tried to reinstall windows, but that did not solve the problem.
Now i have to put the computer in hibernate mode every time.
It might coincide when i install a update for windows.
I got the vista CD and clicked repair my computer.
It lets me load my computer again, but when i shut down, or restart, the error comes up again.
What should i do?
