Blue screen

Ive been getting blue screen errors for a while now. Ive done countless antivirus/sypyware checks and I have even formatted my hard drive. I get the following error:

*** STOP: 0x0000008E (0xC0000005, 0xBF8011D3, 0xF8635A48, 0x00000000)

*** win32k.sys - address BF8011D3 base at BF800000, DateStamp 43446a48

Seeing as formatting the hard drive didnt solve the problem, it seems to me like it may be a hardware issue but I was wondering if anybody had any other ideas

There may be several casues for this.

Put STOP: 0x0000008E into Google and you will find several situations where this error manifests itself. See which one fits your with your problem.

Perhaps you would rxplain exactly what you have done, presumably you have reformatted your drive completely and reinstalled your OS, is that right?
