Blue border appearing around image link

Hi, I have been creating a new website, well at the moment its only one page. It is valid CSS and XHTML so I thought I would pop the images to show this on my page. However on IE the valid XHTML 1.0 button has a blue border round it however it isnt there on Firefox as in the CSS I stated that links should be white which made the border blend in with the background.

If anyone know how to solve this little problem your help would be appriciated.

You can see my problem here - click here

Thanks in advance

Unfortunately I have already tried it and to no avail...

There is probably a quite simple explanation for this but I seem unable to find the solution.

Ah, that never crossed my mind.

Thank you for your help, it has worked.

Perhaps its like I said, a simple solution.

Anyway, thanks again.

I see now, just by looking at your first response that you were telling me to do what you told me to do in your second response. Woops, sorry for that...
