I have set the maximum restriction on sex to prevent my computer from being allowed to download pornographic images.however I find that they are still accessible, why is that? Does it depend on the title of the site so that an innocent title can fool the computer or what? Please help.

This only works if the porn sites rates itself based on IE's settings. Unfortuantly the vast majority don't bother and therefore makes the content setting in IE useless.

There are 'net nanny' progams availble that will block these kind of programs, unfortuantly having never used one i can't recommend a suitable one.

I'm sure there will be someone here with more knowledge who will be able to help you futher.

Not sure if I'm reading your post correctly, you don't say who it is that is trying to download porn images onto "your" computer, why don't you password protect it and refuse permission to who-ever it is that is trying, sorry if I've got the wrong end of the stick...alB

Unfortunately it's not practical to password protect it but I'm going to try the other sugestions, thanks for the advice.

I use freeware Parental Filter, at click here their older version were more stable if you can get your hands on a version but they promise me a big next version.
