blankl ine in msconfig

I noticed yesterday that I have a blank line in the msconfig>startup.The startup and command line are blank but it says under the location bit SOFTWARE/microsoft/windows/currentversion/run.any info wound be great.

To show which programs start up at boot time, go to Start, Run, type regedit and navigate to registry key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

To delete something in the right pane (in your case a blank entry), right click it and click delete.

Backup the registry first in case you have finger trouble.

I think thaks to ßéLâ I have just descovered what the key is its to a games server I use (STEAM)so thanks all Im not going to delete it just in case the servers stop working, cheers all
