I seem to have caught the Bladerunner trojan despite having numerous real time protection progs, scanners etc including Norton.

None of them are detecting it.

In an effort to find the little sod I have also downloaded Ewido Security Suite, Spyware Doctor, a2 Guard, Hijack This, Bazooka & TDS-3.

None of them are finding anything but just on another point, are all these progs legit & not malware in disguise?

from what I can see the anti spyware prog's you are using seem to be ok, ( I run spyware doctor & A2 )

Don't know much about the ewido suite though.

The following is removal instructions for the trojan. click here

Cheers folks but not much use as I still have it. Thing is, I also have Onspeed & it seems to be connected. With Onspeed activated certain internet pages are unavailable especially ones where I have bladerunner, trojan, virus in the search text. At the same time, I get the Norton intrusion blocked pop up which shows my PC as the intrusion address.

With Onspeed deactivated all internet pages are available & without any NIS pop up.

I think there may be another thread about this Onspeed connection here too.

Any ideas?
