Blackwidow scanner and windows XP

  malcolm 06:41 06 Feb 03

I have up graded to windows xp and my scanner will not work. This I knew about! but I aslo know that You can download patches-drivers from the Driverguide web site. my problem is how do i load the windows 2000 driver and them the xp driver that I have downloaded from driverguide.
Xp will not load the windows 2000 from my blackwidow disk.

Any help would be very welcome and then I wouldn't have to fork out for a new scanner.

click here is the driver here.
If not have you tried removing the scanner software from Add/ Remove Programs...turn off the PC and unplug the scanner from the PC. Turn the PC on and ...shut down...attach the scanner and start the PC see if windows finds it.
