Hi! People
I have a Toshiba Sat S1800-814 Running xp
When i turn my p.c on i get the BIOS password that i enter then she go's dead just a flashing dot in the left top hand side off the screen i can not get in to BIOS. And my recover cd is not working/ It just dead

Any ideas

Seems to be corruption between your password input to the bios and what the bios recognises. This is why I NEVER use a bios password. You could try resetting the CMOS by moving the jumper which should be somewhere near the computer battery. Your Motherboard manual should indicate where this jumper is and how to do it. Its just a matter of seconds that you have to do this for a reset. As to whether this will clear the password data I do not know. I have never had to do this. Remember - No password - No problem.

try changing thr boot sequence as well,it worked for me when i had a similar problem.
