If I tell the BIOS to enable wake on Lan, how do I send that computer the "wake up" signal?

I'd like to use XPs remote desktop sharing functionality, but if the PC I want to remotely attach to is asleep, I want to wake it up.

Try looking here click here. When I was on dialup I had to disable the 'wake on lan' feature, because whenever the phone rang it switched the computer on, so I guess thats how it works via the phone line. How or if it works on broadband I don't know.

I use WOL.exe (Wake On LAN) from click here
it's free and simple to use.
