Bios Query For Any Technical Experts

Hello to all you good forum members again. For assistance with this query, I really do look towards the technical experts out there.
My motherboard is a Gigabyte GA-MA770-UD3 v2.
I have just upgradae my system with an AM3 Black Edition AMD Phenom11, 550 x2 processor, with 3.1 true dual core design and 7.0mb total cache.
Although I am in my 70's I am still trying to learn as much about computers as I can. My query is this:- In the Bios - Advanced Clock Calibration
when pressing enter: the AC Firmware selection shows (normal); However when entering the Advanced Clock Calibration, the choices of Disabled (default); Auto; All Cores; Per Core;
are given.
The values of Cores Shown are;
Value (all cores) -2%;
Value Core 0 -2%
Value Core 1 -2%
Value Core 2 -2%
Value Core 3 -2%
Does this mean that my processor is actually running at -2% less than its normal power, and if so, to what should the bios be altered to to SAFELY give me the best of power from my Black edition CPU, taking into account any overheating problem which might occur.
Many thanks to all you technicians out there who are willing to give me the information I need.

Nobody knows how ACC works. AMD never explained it.
