BIOS password - Fujitsu Siemens laptop

I've got hold of a cheap Fujistu Siemens lifebook laptop. I was aware that the laptop had a few minor faults and that there was a bios password enabled.

Bios version is Phoenix Bios 4.0. I've tried backdoor passwords, cracking utilities without any luck. Does anyone else have any ideas?

I'm also aware of how laptop BIOS password are not stored the same as deskop pc's and that most utilities cannot crack on a laptop.

Is it unlocked via a combination of keypresses on the laptop itself, or purely a BIOS password?

Those backdoors don't work I've tried lots of supposed ones :-)

Also you cannot remove the battery on a laptop.
