BIOS hiding?

  Kernel 09:41 28 Feb 08

I have just installed a different MOBO together with a new 450watt PSU, for a few hours the system worked fine, switching on and off OK. Last night I switched the thing off and this morning when I switch on the unit POST's and the first screen comes up telling me the system health is OK and measuring the memory as OK but it doesnt go on to look for the hard drive it just hangs there. I also find that I cannot enter the BIOS although the invitation for me to do that is at the bottom of the screen. Any ideas?

If your keyboard is a USB type you will not be able to access the bios you need to install a ps2 type keyboard

A ps2 keyboard and mouse is active the moment you turn on the computer

A USB type keyboard is only active once the system is up and running and the usb ports is active
