Hello friends, how does bios relate/work with the cpu when I turn on my pc? Suppose the cpu is absent, will bios go ahead with POST and then give the usual single beep if all is well? And suppose bios is absent/dead how would the cpu behave? Thanx in advance.

They are both needed in order to get any sort of reaction from your pc.

it only handles communication between CPU with other components

If BIOS corrupt / missing then PC will not boot maybe not even a screen to show.

If CPU or other major component missing / damaged then Bios will halt during boot sequence and give error massage or beep codes.
