had about 4 power cuts on the trot the other day.Now my pc freezes on the bios splash screen for about 4 minutes before it boots into windows. When in windows everything works fine.I have cleared the CMOS but to no avail. All conections are ok.I cannot clear the bios splash screen as it will not let me so i cannot see what is holding it up.I have a d bracket on the back with some system LEDS which show me the bios is stuck on sign on.The motherboard is a MSI K8N NEO PLATINUM N-FORCE 3 CHIPSET .ANY IDEAS GUYS?

What OS? I would say that the MBR is corrupt, If it cannot make sense of it then that's why the slow down, it's not the BIOS I don't think. XP or what
