Is their a default way of entering the Bios of any system?

But the most common method is to press Delete on boot-up.

Some proprietary systems use a different key.

Normally, the key required is indicated in the bottom left or top right hand side of the screen at boot-up time.

Agree with LastChip, during boot it's usually ESC or F2 key.

most motherboards you need to press "del"

ECS motherboards (or at least the K7S5A) you press DEL then ENTER

ASROCK, you press F2 and ENTER.

most cases it will tell you onscreen what key to press.

in the case of a dell, you may need to press ESC to switch to bios view instead of DELL's default startup screen.
