BigFix problems

Has anyone experianced any probs connecting to Bigfix.
I keep getting messages from Bigfix saying that I haven't gathered from the fixlet site for two weeks (I've enabled auto gathering since day one) but when I try to connect to Bigfix I get an error message saying the site is unavailable or words to that effect.
My son gets the same on his PC so it can't be just me.

Dump it like I did. Caused more problems that it was worth. If you do windows update regulary then it's as good as anything else. I bet I'll start something now.

a 15 watt PSU on a P4 3.06GHz PC.

Evesham provide it on their PCs - that should put things in perspective!

I have found BigFix to be an absolute waste of space so I uninstalled it. If you can run Norton Systemworks ,it is far,far better.

I had it on 2 w2k pc's and 1 pc would advise me on every bootup to join, so after 2 reintalls I keep it off now.

I installed it and didn't reinstall it after it trashed my system (Windows 2000 at the time)leading to a format and reinstall.
