Big message not receivable on OE6

My friend has sent me an e-mail with a big attachment to my Virgin.net account, and I have received it on my other computer already. However, when I try to get it on my laptop, the progress bar for receiving the mail never moves. I have tried deleting it off the server via the account options on my other computer, but it still won't let me download it.

Is there any way in which I can bypass this e-mail and go onto the next one? Or is there any other advice that anyone else can offer?

Wait is probably the answer. The lack of movement on the progress bar could be just down to how some AV programs work.

You see no progress whilst it's arrivivg into the Av programs proxy server, and being scanned - then when finished, you will see a very rapid download as it is transferred to the inbox.
