A time ago I was curious about what my bf was up to and came across some porn/hentai I asked him about it with calm and he said he doesn't know anything about it and that many weird things have been going on in his PC /Bitcoin mining that he didn't know about etc

He then said that someone could be using my computer in a way? I don't know I was just curious if this was possible cause we do worry about it still

Hmmm... Yes, his explanation may be true. But being a cynic, and a guy, I suspect it isn't.

What security programs do you have installed?

there are several free programs which will scan and remove malware and virus and even Pups (Potentially Unwanted Programs).

I feel sure that he's as pure as wind driven snow.

However, if I were you I would check that my AV was up to date, and run the likes of the CCleaner and Malwarebytes as a precaution against potential nasties.

Hey guys thanks for the replies - I don't know much about computers and its inner demons but I believe he has managed to fix it by formatting and running ccleaners - it's just strange though, didn't know that type of threat exists

I think that he is trying to blind you with science.
