the best way to identify what memory I have

  Deemun76 07:02 04 Jun 03

I'd like to add some memory to my Compaq Presario 1200 laptop but am having trouble finding out what kind I've got.

I've narrowed it down to :

but can't find out whether it's cl=2 or cl=3 or what or whether it's parity or non-parity.

Compaq's website has been unhelpful. I got the above information using SISoft Sandra and Belarc Advisor.

Any help with this would be very much appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

Thanks Spires, the american site is actually fine as I'm going to the states for a couple of weeks this summer( I'm in Egypt).

I have actually tried Crucial's thingamiebob and it seems to require to already know all kinds of stuff..
the results it gave me were obviously not appropriate for my computer, based on what I already know.

Thanks Anyway!
I may try contacting them and see if they can help me out!
