What parts would you be considering upgrading?

as much as possible

To the best of my knowledge the space is usually so tight and, as each Laptop is constructed differently, the answer is "No".

Except RAM.

There have been discussions about installing new CPUs but that is unlikely to be worth while. There is a possibility of a Graphics Card Upgrade, but lack of space is the problem once again.

While some laptops technically have upgradeable graphics chips, it's largely academic as they're near impossible to get, rendering upgrades a return to manufacturer job.
RAM and hard drive are fairly easy, any more and it's going to be so difficult and costly you could well be better off looking to replace.
