i am buying a dvd burner what are the forums experiences with software, what works the best, what`s idiot proof? i want to store data, copy over mp3s,music cds`, data, and make back up copies of dvds, my own of course!!, i believe some form of compression is required to get a movie onto one dvd, please enlighten me, someone said nero, but i found nero hard work compared to adaptec when it came to burning cdrs` and don`t want to go there again, and then there`s dvd- and dvd+, i read the theory, i want to hear the practical differences
thanks for your time

I have only used Nero and ignorance of anything else makes me able to say that it is excellent at doing what it does.
