Should i go Ntl or bt to upgrade from a 56 modem to 128 or higher

  NIGEY 20:26 27 Jul 03

depends wot you wanna pay....but buying the 128 modem will cost more than having broadband installed...telewest blueyonder doing a offer at the mo £10 to have broadband installed and only £25 a month and well the diff is impressive so in my opinion go for broadband....
hope ive helped all though i think not

nigey:-)

Go NTL 600 k BB for £24-99 a month. No problems in eight months and the websites load instantly.

i use ntl 150k. 17.99 pm and no probs so far.

its all a matter of opinion, whats the cheapest is not always the best option to choose.
you need to look at installation cost, monthly connection fee, support costs, speed, reliability,
oversubscription can dramaticaly narrow your bandwidth ect, also depends whats on offer in your area.
dont rush in do your homework first.
i beleive aol are offering broadband for £19.99 per month, but then again not evertone likes the way aol swamps your pc.
for what its worth i have a 600k ntl connection which in all honesty has performed admirably sofar.
goodluck, rambus

Depending on where you live, but NTL are offering free modem and installation in Norwich at the moment. 128k is about £15 a month and 600k is about £25 a month. I have been on NTL broadband at 600k for about 8 months now but I am on cable and have had no problems so far. NTLs helpline, if needed, is free. AOL are also offering free installation although their monthly sub is about £30. Go to click here or click here and check it out.
