Hi there,

After 5 hours fiddling, i'm about to give up! I can't get my new router to start wireless! the setup shows it as disabled and i have no clue as how to enable it - the manual's no help either!

Can anyboyd help?

have you connected the router using a usb or ethernet cable? You need to do this to set it up correctly. You should have been given an ip address. user name and password for it.

yeah - have done that. Am using the router for internet access just now, but i can't get the wireless enabled at all!

I had the same situation recently, try turning off any firewalls for a start. Configure them when you get your network running. I do not suggest you need to do as I did, but I had to reinstall windows to sort things out.

grr...that didn't work (but thanks!). I can't get access to any of the wireless settings at all (firewalls or not), they are all grayed out. There's no green light lit up on the router itself under the wireless icon, and the setup is showing disabled - but there's no way to enable it!
