Is your speedtouch router a 802.11b wireless device?

11 Mbits/sec is the maximum speed for a 802.11b device. The only way to speed up your network will be to replace it with a 802.11g device, which will match the speed of your cards. Otherwise, you are stuck with it.

However the only time you would get a noticeable speed increase, would be during any file transfer not downloading or browsing.
