Belkin wireless adapter not recognised by Windows

I bought a wireless router & adaptor for my desktop as I got a new laptop & wanted both to connect to the internet. The laptop works fine, but trying to install the adapter (connected to my PC via USB cable) I keep getting a windows message saying it is not digitally signed or recognised by Windows & therefore it can't install it. This means windows will not look for any wireless networks
Any ideas gratefully received

Click the ignore option when you install it, common problem but it will work anyway...
