Belkin Wireless Access Point security

I've had one of the Belkin wireless access points (F5D7130) for a couple of years and am now thinking about changing the security settings. The manual tells you to go to 192.168.2.254 but I can't get there, even if I turn the Windows firewall off.

I am using a Vigor 2200USB DSL Router in conjunction with the WAP, but I don't see why that should cause a problem.

Any ideas what I'm missing?

Those numbers dont look right, have another read of the book, or possibly one of the members of this forum has the same Belkin.

I've had a read of the manual and yes the numbers you show are correct ( I presume you didn't prefix the numbers with www or http? is so this maybe the problem).

Can you connect to the device directly using a network cable? If so that may solve the problem.

Failing that ring belkin (00800 22355460 or 01933 352000) they are open 24/7 but their holiday/weekend cover is a bit limited so maybe try them tommorrow?
