Belkin router shows no signs of life - Bricked?!

  Zopah 12:02 22 Feb 08

The other day, I attempted to update the firmware on my router, but as I was doing it, my mother unplugged the router. Since then, no matter what I do with the router, it shows no signs of life. Fortunately, I have a back-up router just in case, but, I'm wondering if theres any way to re-flash the Belkin back to its original firmware. I've tried holding in the reset button for 15 secs, but not with the ethernet cables in, just the power lead, could this have anything to do with it?

By the way, it is a draft-N router, the F5D8233-4 (cable not ADSL).
Any help is very much appriecated.

Don't Belkin products come with Lifetime Warranty.

Having dealt with Belkin support on a number of occasions, I found that they were very good in providing advice and replacements ;O)
