Belkin or NetGear Powerline Adapters for UK?

I'm planning to buy either the Belkin F5D4074 Powerline AV starter kit or the NetGear XAVB101 twin pack. Both have are 200mbps and both have very positive reviews from critics.

However, is it possible that one is better for MY home than the other depending on my houses Electrical Wiring or is there no difference at all?

My guess is that the wiring in your house will affect all brands equally, so little difference really. Any software included is rarely necessary either unless you want to set up encryption.

I bought own brand ebuyer powerline kit click here for two years it's been stable and decent speeds too.

Others may have experience but I'm not sure if the 200mbps versions are worthwhile for most users, but could be if you have a 1000 mbps (gigabit) network adapter in each unit.

Hope this helps
