Belkin N Router & Printers

I have a Belkin wireless n router with a Virgin Media cable modem; there is a USB on the router for attaching an external hard drive, but can I connect a printer to this port? Or if I get a printer with ethernet connection, can I plug it into one of the ethernet ports on the back of the router so we can print wirelessly from either my laptop or my wife's, without having to have the printer wired directly into on of the laptops?

I think it is unlikely that the router can be used as a "print server", but check the manual.

Yes, that will work and give you "wireless" printing.

Thanks mgmcc, thought ethernet was the way forward... just wanted to check with those in the know.

Hi benji
I too have a belkin wireless n router and Virgin media. I bought this click here
It works a treat and can now print from any computer on the network.
Also fits nicely under the router.
