Belkin modem/wireless router & ZoneAlarms

Since installing the above Belkin device I have noticed there are fewer "intrusions" being blocked by Zone Alarms firewall.

So I assume it is a much safer way to access the internet than the previous simple broadband USB modem as supplied by my ISP??

Must say I am pleased I decided to ditch the USB modem, as now both my desktop pc's can access the internet (never did work out how to use ICS) and Mrs. G-G is happy as her birthday present laptop can also access the internet via wireless connection.

Probably still be struggling without the help of this forum.

It is likely you are receiving the same amount of "intrusions" (ping's) as before, but I suspect your Belkin Router has a built in Firewall, so most of the ping's are being stopped before they ever reach Zone Alarm.

I'm glad Mrs. G-G is happy; love and peace is my motto (peace being the operative word!) ;-)
